Yesterday, which is my night for cooking dinner, I made my first home-cooked, from-scratch Chinese recipe.  Sweet-and-Sour Pork.  Or, since we eat kosher, Sweet-and-Sour Chicken.  It was actually incredibly good.  I got rave reviews, especially from my mom and dad!

For those connoisseurs wondering, I was cooking from the Chinese Cooking Class Cookbook by the Editors of Consumer Guide.  I think it may have been published the same year Noah built the ark…
