We are thrilled to announce today that our site is up to 5,000 views, in approximately the last five months. Although a few posts go back as far as October 2007, family participation began in February 2008. To commemorate this milestone, here are a few thoughts from us:

1. We’re amazed that people can stay interested in what we’re doing… even with no pictures!

2. No, we don’t count our own visits to the site. ;)

3. We know, it’s hard to spell Squicciarini, and tricky to remember the URL. Suggestion: bookmark the site (add it to your favorites).

4. Or better yet, subscribe to our RSS feed. We understand you’re busy - the feed will deliver each new post straight to your email, so you never miss an update!

5. You wouldn’t believe how many people find our site by searching for “poolside seats.” 

6. Start commenting.

6b. Be aware that any email sent to a member of the Squicciarini family may end up, in part or whole, on the blog. This is called a “disclaimer.“

7. Come join us at the Residence for an informal open house hosted by the Squicciarini family on Thursday, July 17 at 7pm. We invite you to spend 5,000 seconds with us (about 83 minutes) celebrating the success of our little blog. Naturally coffee will be served. ;-) We shall call the occasion ”M5“…an attempt to express 5,000 in Roman numerals.
